I’m no stranger to numbers, and you shouldn’t be either.  Before you can assess your progress on your goals, you need to gather your metrics. Here is a list of information that will be helpful to you when reevaluating your goals:

  • Profit and Loss
  • Client acquisition/sales numbers
  • Social followers/views, email list, and other quantitative data 
  • Any other metric you track within your business
Book your spot on your own calendar! For real, make an appointment with yourself. Get in a quiet space where you can review your data and be honest with yourself.

Personal VS Business?

It’s not an either/or when it comes to your small business and personal goals. You can have personal goals and business goals. More often then not, they are going to overlap and make you a better person in each avenue of life.

Stop making excuses for not knowing your numbers. Finances are not scary. They will tell you where you have been, and you can analyze and determine where you are going.

Ask yourself these 5 questions

Setting goals is easy, but tracking to your metrics are more important in gauging your success. Your goals may not go as planned, that is why check-ins are important for identifying progress. Find that quiet spot and ask yourself these 5 questions:

  1.  What were my 3 biggest wins?
  2. What challenges or obstacles did I work through (what worked vs what didn’t)
  3. What surprised me about my goals?
  4. 3 goals for the next quarter.
  5. What will I do different in the next 90 days?
